Dr Kerri-Lyn Webb \u2013 Developmental Paediatrician<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Kerri is the Co-Director<\/strong> of ARBRE and a Developmental Paediatrician <\/strong>who specialises in supporting children and young people with developmental and behavioural problems. She believes working with an expert team is the best way to understand and support children and young people. She provides services face-to-face and by telehealth to rural and remote areas. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kerri trained at the Mater Children\u2019s Hospital (Brisbane) and the Royal Children\u2019s Hospital Parkville (Melbourne). Since 2001, she has worked as a paediatrician in Brisbane (Royal Children\u2019s Hospital and then Children\u2019s Health Queensland). Kerri has studied public health, evaluation and family therapy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From 2015 to 2021, Kerri chaired the Queensland Child and Youth Clinical Network. She worked with systems: service planning and redesign and supporting policies for the health of children and young people. Kerri is a partner and a mother to four \u201cbig kids\u201d. Her love for friends and family drove her to co-create Arbre with her friend and colleague, Jordana Rigby.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jordana Rigby \u2013 Mental Health Social Worker and Family Therapist<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Jordana is the Co-Director<\/strong> of ARBRE and our <\/strong>Accredited Mental Health Social Worker and Family Therapist<\/strong>. Jordana has spent the majority of her career in the field of child development where her passion for understanding individuals in the context of their family grew. Jordana believes child and family development is intertwined and that understanding both is crucial to helping children and families grow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jordana has worked across hospital and community settings for over 18 years with many health services including child development, mental health and state-wide services. Jordana completed a Master of Mental Health (Family Therapy) in 2017 which was driven by her desire to work with families and their dynamics to create a unique, nurturing and therapeutic space. Her desire to help families and the strength of her 20-year working relationship with Kerri drove her to co-create Arbre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr Uyen Tran \u2013 Developmental Paediatrician<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Uyen is a Developmental Paediatrician<\/strong>, who enjoys working in partnerships with children, young people and their families and their support networks, to understand their concerns and to support them to find their own unique solutions.  She studied Medicine at the University of Queensland and then completed specialist paediatric training in child development at the Royal Children\u2019s and Mater Children\u2019s Hospitals in Brisbane and the BC Children\u2019s Hospital in Vancouver, Canada. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She has worked for many years in community and hospital based child development services, and enjoys working in a team environment with allied health colleagues to provide assessment and intervention for children, young people and their families through a multidisciplinary lens. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Uyen has completed a Masters of Population Health and is passionate about understanding and supporting the health and wellbeing of children and young people on an individual, as well as on a population level. Uyen understands  that \u201cit takes a village to raise a child\u201d and she will support you to build and strengthen the  \u201cvillage\u201d around your child.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Uyen and her husband have two teenage children, a dog and many chickens. They enjoy spending time outdoors as a family. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Holly Kennedy \u2013 Nurse Practitioner<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Holly is a Nurse Practitioner<\/strong> who has worked in the field of neurodiversity throughout her 23-year professional career. Holly specialises in developmental paediatrics and neurodiverse young people and has a specific interest in Autistic Spectrum Disorders, ADHD, Intellectual impairment and Specific Learning Disorders. Holly has experience and skills in positive behaviour support, building social skills and functional capacity and supporting\/advocating for families of neurodiverse children and young people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Holly has a long career in developmental paediatrics working in the public health system across child development services, nurse navigation for children with additional needs and now as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) specialising in Developmental Paediatrics. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Holly enjoys getting outdoors as much as possible with family and friends and is passionate about and relishes any opportunity to be around a horse!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Antoinette Fitzgerald \u2013 Occupational Therapist<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Antoinette is an Occupational Therapist<\/strong> who is passionate about helping children and families.  With a strong family centered approach Antoinette can help you support your child to feel confident, happy and successful in their everyday roles.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Antoinette studied occupational therapy at the University of Queensland and also has a Masters degree from the University of Sydney. She has worked in child development for over 20 years in Brisbane in the public health system. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Antoinette understands how busy life can be. She has two teenagers, a husband, and two almost human puppies. She knows all children and families are unique and wants to help find solutions to see families flourish.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Lauren Charrington \u2013 Speech Pathologist<\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Lauren is a Speech Pathologist<\/strong> who has worked in various paediatric settings, from private practice to specialist community child development and hospital teams. Throughout her career, Lauren has had the privilege of supporting children of all ages, from babies right up to teens with a wide range of communication profiles. Her special interests include child development, hearing loss and bilingualism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lauren takes a strengths-based, family-centred approach to speech pathology intervention and advocates strongly for children with communication challenges. She likes to work collaboratively with families and stakeholders to empower them in achieving their chosen goals. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a mum of 3, and a neurodivergent-affirming parent and clinician, Lauren values the importance of understanding a child\u2019s needs and family system, harnessing their unique strengths, and building a supportive environment for them to thrive.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Danica Adolfsson \u2013 Clinical Psychologist<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Danica is a Clinical Psychologist<\/strong> who has practised in Brisbane for the past 10+ years. Danica made the shift to practising more within the paediatric space after having her own two children which certainly created a greater appreciation of the challenges of family\/parenting life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Danica especially enjoys working with families using a family centred approach. Danica often works with families who are seeking to: understand and better connect with their child who have different developmental needs (e.g. Autism, ADHD); support all of their children who may have different needs; improve their management of challenging family dynamics. Danica also provides treatment for other concerns such as anxiety, eating disorders, mood concerns, obsessive compulsive disorder.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Elle Ee \u2013 Psychologist<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Elle is a Psychologist<\/strong> who works with children, young people and their families across a range of emotional, behavioural and developmental needs. Elle completed her Masters in Educational and Developmental Psychology from QUT in 2024 and has enjoyed working across community child development services. She has experience working with children with developmental differences (e.g., ADHD, Autism) and connects with families using a strengths-based, family-centred approach. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Elle\u2019s areas of practice include anxiety and depression, autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, emotional regulation, learning differences, behavioural challenges, parenting support, school avoidance, self-esteem and social skills development. She takes a warm, creative and collaborative approach, with a strong focus on helping children feel safe, heard, and empowered to build confidence in their abilities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Outside of the clinic room, Elle enjoys going on nature walks, making art, refining her photography skills and going snorkelling.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Nadia Borer \u2013 Mental Health Social Worker<\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Nadia is a warm, compassionate, and curious Mental Health Social Worker <\/strong>who collaborates with people to achieve their wellbeing goals. Nadia found her passion for working with people as a youth worker in the community sector, leading her to pursue a Master of Social Work. Since graduating in 2015, Nadia has worked across a number of child and youth mental health services, with families, children and young people impacted my mental health. Practice areas include: trauma, anxiety, depression, family relationships and attachments, and emotional regulation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nadia has a strong systemic practice, considering the person within the context of their environment, and relationships. In her work with people Nadia will use systemic family therapy frameworks, brief solution focused therapy, dyadic therapies, trauma informed practice, cognitive behaviour therapy, and dialectic behaviour therapy, Nadia is also a yoga teacher, who can offer trauma informed yoga and relaxation strategies to support emotional wellbeing, emotional regulation, self awareness and personal growth.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Maria Offermans \u2013 Speech Pathologist<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Maria is a neuro-affirming speech pathologist with extensive experience supporting children and adolescents with diverse communication profiles. She believes that every person deserves support that honours their identity, autonomy, and preferred ways of communicating.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maria works collaboratively with families and multidisciplinary teams to create supportive, strengths-based environments where communication can flourish. She uses a person-centred approach to deliver evidence-based practice, aiming to empower individuals to communicate in ways that feel authentic and meaningful to them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maria is Mum to one teenager and a cat who thinks he\u2019s a dog. When she\u2019s not working she loves hiking, reading, and coffee-related side quests. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr Brooke Andrew is a Clinical Neuropsychologist<\/strong> who cares about the well-being of young people and their families. Brooke has a PhD in Clinical Neuropsychology and Clinical Psychology and has worked in both hospital and university settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She believes that the best outcomes for children result from a shared understanding of the child in their context. It is essential to work with other professionals, schools, families, and young people. Brooke loves the chaos of family life. She is a mum to two boys, a lively dog, and a few oddly long-lived fish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alyssa Heim is a Speech Pathologist<\/strong> with 20 years\u2019 experience working in Pediatrics across educational and public health settings. Alyssa has a passion for child development and is highly skilled in developmental diagnostics. Alyssa has worked for the past 15 years within a specialist child development setting as part of a multidisciplinary developmental diagnostic assessment team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alyssa is passionate about working with preschool, school aged and high school students and provides a warm and engaging style to her speech pathology assessment and intervention. Alyssa is a busy Mum of three and understands the importance of family context and how offering a child and family focused approach to care is critical to ensuring best outcomes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
